Sons of Anarchy, Season 3 News
So it is almost official: Sons of Anarchy will return for a third season! SOA creator Kurt Sutter confirmed the news, although FX has yet to officially announce it.
It’s great news for the night of the second season finale, isn’t it? “Na Triobloidi,” Season 2, Episode 13, airs tonight at 10PM on FX – if you miss it, we will have it within a couple of hours of airtime.
Sadly, the season has not been extended, which is something Jax actor Charlie Hunnam is ecstatic about. Apparently, he is a British born actor who still needs to work on his American accent. I never was able to tell he had an accent – could you? Well, he was happy that Season 2 was only 13 episodes, so that he could work on his accent during the break between Season 2 and Season 3.
A few spoilers for Season 3:
Drea de Matteo (who played Jax’s ex-wife, Wendy) will not return. She has a role on Desperate Housewives so there are no plans to have her come back.
Kurt Sutter hopes to have his wife, Katey Sagal and actress who plays Gemma Teller-Morrow, sing during every season. Also, he’d like to have Kenny Johnson from The Shield to come back to the show, unless he gets some other work before Season 3 start date.
As for Season 2 Finale, Na Triobloidi, Sutter and Hunnam say that “shit happens. Big shit, bad shit.” And that it will be very satisfying for the fans, as well as piss off a few critics.
Now, I’m excited.
